I've been teaching dance fitness in the form of Zumba since 2014. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. You can expect music rhythms from around the world: Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Bachata, Pop, Soca, and many more. Bring water and wear sneakers and join the party.

Cheri Isacson
Cheri Isaacson is a life-long learner and movement enthusiast. Cheri was initially drawn to yoga to build strength and flexibility. Quickly she found the practice to enhance her balance, mindfulness, and overall sense of calm. Cheri completed her initial training in 2010 with Scottie Bruch and JJ Gormley at the Surya Chandra Healing Yoga School. She has additional training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and is a registered children’s yoga teacher. Cheri resides in Sturgis with her family and is a teacher in the Meade School District.
Be sure to check the calendar for additional pop-up classes throughout the summer! Cheri plans to offer yoga for kids too!

Scottie Bruch
I have been teaching yoga in the Black Hills and surrounding area since 2009 and founded Sturgis Yoga in 2011. I received my yoga teacher certification through my mentor, JJ Gormley of Surya Chandra Healing Yoga School, and my Storytime Yoga teaching certificate through Sydney Solis.
Hosting special events is my passion, and since 2010, I have lead over 20 women's yoga and wellness retreats in addition to two yoga teacher training programs and numerous yoga and wellness workshops. I am also co-host of the South Dakota Yoga Gathering, which is coming up on year 7!
I currently work full time for the South Dakota State Library and am coaching middle school sports, so my yoga offerings are limited. But I'm working on that! ;-)
My husband and I love to travel the world with our two boys and provide as many experiences and adventures for them as possible!

Dr. Sarah Sue
Dr. Sarah Sue is trained as a naturopathic doctor, having earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2014. Though she is not currently licensed in SD, as SD is currently an unlicensed state for NDs, she offers her services in the roles of health guide, coach, consultant & ally, healing facilitator, as well as educator in the world of medicine and health. Over the past 20 years, she has taught at many venues and for many audiences ~ herbal schools, non-profits, universities (a professor to master's & PhD students), health & wellness centers, yoga studios, the mountains of Morocco, farms, forests, as well as in the clinical setting for her beloved patients & clients over her 13 years of practice. She is also a devoted steward ~ of the earth and her 7-year-old son :)
"To heal" is to transcend suffering, and Dr. Sarah Sue works to remove obstacles that can get in the way of this healing journey. She is passionate about helping others find empowerment within their health journey, to make peace with their bodies, teach them to tap in and activate their body's own innate ability to heal, as well as learn to access their own inner knowing, guidance, power, and light within. Her tools & skills are extensive, in order to address and support the whole person - body, mind, & spirit. Beyond diet, herbs, and supplements, she believes that the "medicines" of the natural world, creativity, connection, and a sense of belonging can deeply support the healing journey. This is where sustainable change is fostered and made. -

Dancing has always been my passion and I’ve danced ballroom most of my adult life. It has only been the last several years when I have taught others my love of dance. Specifically I have taught Line Dancing at the Meade County Senior Center for over two years, and I am now branching out on my own..
Line Dancing is an excellent form of exercise. In fact I open my classes with all-over body stretches to limber up before we dance. Line Dancing has proven to open new pathways in the brain. Can’t beat that.
I’ve had several careers in my life from owning a mortgage brokerage to owning an art gallery. I am retired from those careers and now enjoy my love of dance as a form of expression and daily exercise.
I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 7.
